Hydrotherapy at Physio Alive

Physio Alive’s pool therapy program is designed by physiotherapists to improve neuromusculoskeletal function, i.e. treat any soft tissue or bony injury and to improve fitness and endurance. Conducted from a privately owned pool in McLaren Vale, aquatic physiotherapy involves exercising the arms, legs and trunk in various positions in the water. Equipment may be used to facilitate or resist movement and hands-on treatment techniques may also be employed by the physiotherapist.

You do not need to be a swimmer to enjoy the many benefits of aquatic physiotherapy!

Each attendee receives an individual assessment and goal setting session and has an individually prescribed program. As our aquatic physiotherapy is prescribed and supervised by physiotherapists, you may claim for this service through your health fund extras cover to receive a rebate.
