Neurological and Vestibular Physiotherapy

Neurological physiotherapy involves optimising function and managing disorders that occur as a result of illness or injury to the brain, spinal cord or wider nerve pathways. Several of our physiotherapists have experience with neurological rehabilitation, especially in the areas of stroke rehab and management of Parkinson’s disease. We are pleased to offer individualised treatment plans and exercise programs and can tailor a program that is home or clinic based, utilising our extensive gym and rehabilitation equipment on site. These can be attended as 1:1 sessions and progression into our classed based programs is also available. We can on occasions, accommodate home visits for local patients, please call our friendly reception staff to enquire.

Vestibular physiotherapy assesses and treats problems with the vestibular system (in the inner ear), which can lead to symptoms including dizziness and vertigo. This requires thorough screening and assessment to accurately determine the cause of your symptoms and proceed with appropriate treatment or onward referral. Our physiotherapists Brea and Jess W have undertaken further training in this area and are happy to see patients presenting with these problems.
